About Me

Hello families! I am so excited to be back for my 3rd year at Tunbridge! I am a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and at the age of 7, I started my dance training at 2M's School of Dance. I continued training throughout grade school and as much as I loved performing, I discovered a greater love for teaching and choreographing dances.

In 2007, I earned a BFA in Theater Arts from "The Real HU," Howard University. From 2009-2014, I was the first and only dance instructor at Capital City Public Charter School (Washington DC) where I started the first high school dance program. From 2006-2017 I served as a dance instructor at Wheaton Studio of Dance (Wheaton, MD) and Coppin State University's Youth Community Dance Program (Baltimore, MD) from 2012 to 2017. In 2016, I earned an MS in Arts Administration from Drexel University. Also in 2016, I was excited to join the Tunbridge family and share my love for dance. It is my goal to expose students to the ins and outs of the world of dance.

In my spare time I enjoy cooking, going to the movies and anything artsy. Also, I am in the final stages of fulfilling my dream of owning a dance studio. Lagniappe (lan-yap) Dance Studio will be located in the Oliver community and will focus on dance, theater, performance, arts administration, and college/career readiness.
