About Me
This is my second year at Tunbridge, but not my first year teaching. I’ve been an educator for 17 years. I taught for a number of years in Baltimore City before taking a leave of absence to nurture my family. While on leave, I earned my Master’s Degree in Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University and owned a small daycare center. Owning a daycare was fulfilling but I couldn’t ignore the call to return to the classroom. I taught in Carroll County for three years and was nominated for Teacher of the Year two years in a row. I currently live in Baltimore City with my husband and our four children. I’m a bit of a “foodie”, constantly testing out new recipes on my family and friends. I am also an avid reader and I enjoy learning new things.
