Do students wear uniforms?

Yes.  Our uniforms are fitness-oriented, allowing for our kids to move freely and confidently. Specific information about uniform guidelines is available by calling the school.

As a public charter school, enrollment at Tunbridge PCS is determined by lottery.  More information about the enrollment process can be found by clicking on the Enrollment tab on this site.

What are the hours of the school day?

School Office Hours (Monday-Friday) 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Breakfast 7:20 am - 7:40 am

Students Report to Homeroom 7:45 am

Late Bell (Students must obtain late pass from the office) 7:50 am

Morning Meeting 7:50 am - 8:15 am

Dismissal 2:30 pm

What is a Charter School?

A Charter School is a public school of choice. There is no tuition charged and student applicants are chosen by lottery, not grades or test scores.
Charter Schools in Baltimore City are a part of the Baltimore City Public School system and are open to all residents of Baltimore City.

Charter School legislation was originally passed by the Maryland General Assembly in 2003 and is currently undergoing revisions to improve the legislation.
