The ability to read, write, and analyze; the confidence to stand up and demand justice and equality; the qualifications and connections to get your foot in that door and take your seat at that table – all of that starts with education.

Meaghan Chow, a founding teacher of Tunbridge Public Charter School, believes teaching and caring for the whole child and working to meet their individual needs is critical to helping all students learn, grow, and find joy in the classroom.  In her role as Director of Teaching and Learning for grades Pre-K – 3, Meaghan works closely with classroom teachers to develop meaningful and effective lessons for Tunbridge scholars.  It is this front row seat, watching students learn something new and being excited and proud of their accomplishments, that inspires and invigorates her as an educator.

Originally from Dayton, Ohio and working within Baltimore City Schools for more than twelve years, Meaghan is proud of the curriculum offered throughout ABI Schools and the focus it shines on teaching children to be thoughtful, kind, and empathetic.  The mother of two young children, Meaghan is inspired by people who find solutions to problems in our world and hopes to share that passion with her children at home and in the classroom.
