Board stars and the names of the awarrdeeAt Tunbridge we are committed to providing an instructional program that engages and excites our learners. We teach to the standards and teach to the child. To us, that means that we are paying very close attention to your child. We know him or her as an individual learner.

Across the content areas, our curriculum is rich and rigorous, and aligned to standards. We look at our data carefully and regularly to help us determine what our students know and can do and where they need to go next. When needed, we adapt our program, our schedule, our curriculum and our instruction to meet the standards and the varied needs of our individual learners.

Throughout this school year, we would like to engage with families in an extended conversation about what proficient readers, mathematicians, and writers across the content areas look, sound, and feel like. Keep your eyes open for grade level sessions where we will dig into this together. We’ll talk more about how we use data, how we approach standardized testing, and the work our school community is engaged in around reading, mathematics, and writing across the content areas.

Details about our middle school specific programming can be found here.
