About Me

This is my first year at Tunbridge, but it's my tenth year teaching. I earned my Masters in Teaching and Learning from the University of San Francisco and I taught in San Francisco for five years before moving back to my home state of Maryland. In my career I have taught second, third, fourth, and fifth grades as both a special and a general educator. My favorite thing about teaching is helping kids grow and develop confidence in their abilities.

I live in the Govans neighborhood of Baltimore with my husband, our daughter, and our two dogs. I enjoy eating good food, whether in restaurants or at home, reading fiction, and being outdoors.
