About Me

Hello!  My name is Michelle Lance and I am delighted to be your child’s second grade teacher this year. This will be my 24th  year teaching. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education from College of Notre Dame of Maryland. I hope you and your child had a wonderful summer and I am very excited for the upcoming school year!

At Tunbridge Public Charter School, students will have plenty of opportunities to think critically, be physically active and interact constructively with others. Students will create and learn habits of the mind and body that will lead to their intellectual, physical and social and emotional health. Therefore, it is important that we work together as a team to make sure every child succeeds in our school.

Each child will be sent home with an orange homework folder every day. Also included in your child’s homework folder will be notices and reminders. Please be sure to check your child’s homework folder on a daily basis. Second grade is a wonderful but challenging year; please make sure your child is present and prepared to learn every day.
