Afya Baltimore manages two pre-K through 8th grade schools across three campuses in Baltimore City. Our schools are a part of the Baltimore City Public School System (BCPSS).

All pre-K applicants MUST BE AGE 4 by September 1, 2026 for enrollment in 2026-27 school year.
All K applicants MUST BE AGE 5 by September 1, 2026 for enrollment in 2026-27 school year.
The Belair-Edison School is a zoned, neighborhood public charter school open to students in pre-K - 8th grade in Baltimore City, with elementary school students at the Brehms Campus and middle school students at the Brendan Campus.
IN THE ZONE: Students living in the zone are automatically eligible to enroll at The Belair-Edison School and do not need to fill out our online application. To determine what your zoned school is, please use the Baltimore City Public Schools Neighborhood School Locator feature. If The Belair-Edison School is your zoned school, please call the main office at the elementary or middle school to enroll your child.
OUTSIDE THE ZONE: We also accept students that live outside of the zone. Baltimore City students who live outside of the zone must submit an application. Students are chosen by lottery, not grades or test scores.

• Completed applications must be received no later than Monday, February 2, 2026 at 3:30pm.
• Applications received after February 2, 2026 at 3:30pm will be added to the waitlist in the order they are received.
• The lottery will take place on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 9:30am at The Belair-Edison School (campus tbd). Inclement weather date is Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 9:30am at The Belair-Edison School (campus tbd).
• Applicants can expect notification of lottery results via email by February 27, 2026.
• Applicants who receive an offer of enrollment must respond to The Belair-Edison School by April 8, 2026.

The Tunbridge School is a city-wide lottery-based public charter school open to all students in Baltimore City in pre-K through 8th grade, with elementary and middle school students on one campus.
Students are chosen by lottery, not by grades or test scores.
