WELCOME

Welcome to another school year full of excitement and learning. I am Ms. Brown the Student Resource, Special Education Teacher for grades 5-8. I push in to the classrooms to collaboratively work with the General Educators supporting the students in their access to the MCCR Standards.  I also have specific pull out students who need more one to one support with specific IEP goals to ensure their growth and academic success.

I am also a 7th grade Advisor partnered with Mr. Arbuckle. Our Advisory/Homeroom class name is the Ar’Bro’kles. We are a classroom community committed to working towards the 7th Grade theme Taking Care of Others. From 6th to 7th grade we learn that it starts with Taking Care of Self in order to be prepared and able to apply the skills and knowledge for Taking Care of Others. We are looking forward to a very successful SY 2018-19.
