About Me

This is my 5th year teaching at Tunbridge, and this year I am teaching 8th grade both math and science as well as a section of Algebra 1.  I moved to Baltimore 12 years ago to start teaching with a program called Teach for America. I have taught 7th and 8th grade math and science throughout my years. I love math, especially Algebra and Calculus, and I hope to instill my love for mathematics into my students while developing them into problem-solvers. Science is really fun to teach because it is so hands on and allows me to see students in a very different context. I am also an 8th grade advisor, and I take the lead on the HS Choice process for our 8th graders!

I live in Baltimore with my husband, our 4-year old son who started pre-K at Tunbridge this year and our 2-year old daughter. I am happy to have found a school-home at TPCS!
