Welcome!
My name is Rosemary Hazle and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year! Here is just a bit about me professionally and personally...
I graduated from Western High School here in Baltimore in 1996 and spent a year at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida with the goal of becoming a marine scientist. I quickly realized that teaching was my passion so I transferred to the University of Maryland, College Park in 1997 where I majored in Elementary Education with a concentration in science.
After graduating from UMCP in 2002, I moved home to Baltimore and began teaching 4th grade at Dr. Carter G. Woodson Elementary in the Cherry Hill neighborhood of Baltimore City. I taught there for 9 years before being recruited by Mrs. Adams to come teach at Tunbridge. This is my 8th year teaching at Tunbridge. Throughout my time here, I have taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades as well as a technology resource. I received my Masters in Education from American Public University in 2013.
I am also a proud city resident. My husband, Luke, is a graphic artist and we have 2 boys. Owen is in 5th grade and Jayden is in Kindergarten. Both of our boys attend Tunbridge and I love that I work in a school where I am thrilled to send my children!
