About Me

I have been teaching at Tunbridge since it opened in 2010.  I taught Drama at Tunbridge for 4 years and then switched into the "Dramabarian" role, while I worked on my master's degree in Library Media, which is now finished!  I perhaps have the most amazing job in the world as it combines the two things I love most, reading books and acting.  I hope to have many young students follow in my footsteps until one day we have a dramabarian at every school in the country. I'm also an eighth grade advisor. I love working in this role and helping prepare our kids for high school.

Before teaching at Tunbridge, I taught at Booker T. Washington Middle School in Baltimore City and Howard High School in Howard County.  At both schools I taught Drama and English.  After taking some time off to raise my kids at home, I am thrilled to be at a school where I get to work with all grades from Pre-K through 8.  I love watching our students grow and teaching them year after year.

I have one daughter in seventh grade at Tunbridge and two older daughters at Poly High School.  We live just up the street with our two dogs and three cats.  For fun, I like to read, see movies, and cook great food!
